What actually happens when I have a claim?

Question 6

I was told I need an SR-22 in Illinois. What does that mean?

An SR-22 isn't insurance, it's a certificate your insurer files with the Illinois Secretary of State proving you carry the required liability coverage, usually after a DUI, driving uninsured, or too many violations. Illinois typically requires it for three years. We can write the policy and file the SR-22 electronically, often the same day, so you can get your license reinstated.
